I set a radio to a static frequency and then buried it with concrete so that only the extended antenna remained visible. The muffled sound of the radio static continued to seep out for a day and a half until the radio's battery energy drained completely.

The resulting concrete slab was used to make the sculpture Dead Reckoning.
